Introduction Tired of seeing your industries stop producing goods and breaking your transport network leading u to bankruptcy? Well, u are in te right place then. This guide is an easy and fast way to understand how to avoid that problem and successfully build your network.
If u follow this simple rules your nightmare will end. Basics As I said in the introduction this is a fast and easy guide, so let's go to the point. If you wanna succed building your network u have to follow 2 simple gold rules. Stream line capacity is less or equal to city needs. Line transportation progression is always gretear or equal to the previous step on the network. Now, you can say, it's that easy?
Well, it is. Following this 2 rules your network will work successfully and all u need to do is adjust it to make it profitable and sustainable.
But let's explain it and see how it works with more detail. Development As we see in the previous section of the guide we have to follow 2 simple rules that we are going to explain here.
Keep in mind that might be some special cases that you have to pay attention if you wanna create and expanded resource network but we will see that in the next steps of the guide, now we are going to foucs on make our basic newtrok work looking at the rules we discuss early on. First Rule Like we see before, the main stream production of our network has to be less or equal to the city needs.
Lets see what that means. As u can see here we need to open the line list red square so we can see now thanks to the latest patch the average annual capacity of our different lines.
Now we can see in the blue circles that our stone transportation capacity per year is and our city needs Thats awesome.
If we TRANSPORT more stone that our target city can consume the quarry will continue producing BUT we can't transport all the produced goods so the quarry guys will be no happy at all because we don't buy their surplus goods. That will lead quarry to stop producing stone and stop using our line totally breaking our network! If we transport less than our city needs nothing bad will happen.
The quarry will adapt his production to our transport capacity and continue producing and using line while we continue transportating all his stone. The ideal thing though is to transport equal goods to our city needs because we are maximizing our line rentability and our transports will do full cargo travels. In this case as I said having a to ratio is awesome and literally perfect.
Second Rule The second gold rule tells us that we need to equalize or increase the lane capacity as we move forward on the transportation netowrk, as you know we don't deliver stone directly to the city, we need to transfom it on construction materials. And this is when the second rule comes in to play Pure logic, let's see how it works. We transport the stone to the factory, remember we were transportating wages per year wpy.
So what we need to do now with our shiny new construction materials?Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Transport Fever 2 Store Page. The harbor there is empty and has no cargo. I've given it plenty of time. It just seems stuck. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to set up a truck stop or something on that island?
Transport Fever 2 - Basic Guide (Useful Tips and Tricks)
Is there a setting for the harbor? Showing 1 - 9 of 9 comments. You need to setup a truck route so that the "trucks" can take the Whiskey to the commercial buildings. So you need a cargo truck stop by the port. Make sure the truck stop has the port in its catchment area. Next you need a drop off point by the commercial buildings in the town. You can see what kind of buildings are in the town in one of the overlays. Later in the mission you will be asked to supply the pub, which is in the commercial area.

I tried everything with trucks and so on. You do not need to build anything on Port Ellen island.Transport supply is the capacity of specific transportation infrastructures and modes over a time period.
Transport demand are mobility needs for the same time period, even if they are only partially satisfied. Each transport more shares the common goal of fulfilling a derived transport demandand each transport mode thus fills the purpose of supporting mobility.
Transportation is a service that must be utilized immediately since unlike the resources it often carries, the transport service itself cannot be stored. Mobility takes place using transport infrastructures of a fixed capacity, providing a transport supply. In several instances, transport demand is answered in the simplest means possible, notably by walking over a landscape that has received little or no modifications.
However, in some cases, elaborate and expensive infrastructures and modes are required to provide mobility, such as for air transportation. Transportation is a market composed of suppliers of transport services and users of these services. Well-functioning transport markets should allow the transport supply to meet transport demand so that transport needs for mobility are satisfied.
An economic system including numerous activities located in different areas generates mobility that must be supported by the transport system.
Without mobility, infrastructures would be useless and without infrastructures, mobility could not occur or would not occur in a cost-efficient manner.
Transport supply. The capacity of transportation infrastructures and modes, generally over a geographically defined transport system and for a specific period of time. Supply is expressed in terms of infrastructures capacityservices frequency and networks coverage. Capacity is often assessed in static and dynamic terms where static capacity represents the amount of space available for transport e. The number of passengers, volume for liquids or containerized trafficor mass for freight that can be transported per unit of time and space is commonly used to quantify transport supply.
Transport demand. Transport needs, even if those needs are satisfied, fully, partially or not at all. Similar to transport supply, it is expressed in terms of number of people, volume, or tons per unit of time and distance. Transport demand is generated by the economy, which is composed of persons, institutions, and industries and which generates the mobility of people and freight.
A distinction can be made between consumptive and productive transport needs. Productive transport needs have a clear economic focus. For example, the transport of semi-finished products from one production site to the final production or assembly site creates added value in the production process by benefiting from the locational advantages of each of the production sites. Consumptive transport needs to generate less visible added value. For example, a road trip does not really add value in a purely economic sense but generates subjective utility and satisfaction to the users.
A discussion on the functioning of transport markets is particularly relevant where it concerns the fulfillment of productive transport needs, but the consumptive dimension of transport must also be considered. The location of resources, factories, distribution centers, and markets are obviously related to freight mobility. Transport demand can vary under two circumstances that are often concomitant; the number of passengers or freight increases or the distance over which these passengers or freight are carried increases.
For the movements of passengers, the location of residential, commercial and industrial areas tells a lot about the generation and attraction of movements. Transport supply and demand have a reciprocal but asymmetric relation. While a realized transport demand cannot take place without a corresponding level of transport supply, a transport supply can exist without a corresponding transport demand.
This is common in infrastructure projects that are designed with a capacity fulfilling an expected demand level, which may or may not materialize, or may take several years to do so.
Scheduled transport services, such a public transit or airlines, are offering a transport supply that runs even if the demand is insufficient.
Infrastructures also tend to be designed at a capacity level higher than the expected base scenario in case that demand turns out to be is higher than anticipated. The guide will give you all main and bonus tasks for Chapter 1 Mission 6. My poor black rectangle has been on the receiving end of all manner of cursing, insults, and childish outbursts. None of them, however, have been quite as embarrassing as when I yelled "use my train, you pricks! I was trying to modernise Scotland, you see always a challenge, hohoho!
Part of this involved building a passenger train line from the Highland town of Fort William to the burgeoning metropolis that was nineteenth-century Glasgow. I got the line set-up easily enough, but those bloody Highlanders outright refused to use it. It appears the phrase "there can be only one" also refers to the use of post-industrial transportation. I promptly established a new bus service of the horse and cart variety ferrying Gaels from the far end of town to the station.

This mixture of frustration and elation sums up my experience of Transport Fever 2, a game in which you turn idle rural backwaters into engines of productivity by connecting them together with planes, trains and automobiles.
Transport Fever is basically a colour-flipped Cities: Skylines. Rather than manually expanding settlements and providing public services, your priority is what happens in the space between urban spaces. You make money by picking stuff up in one place and then dropping it off somewhere else. That stuff can be either people, products, or resources. To supply that settlement with the staff of life, you need to connect a grain farm to a food production factory, then connect the factory to the location in question.
You might choose to do this by road, building truck stops at all locations, connecting them together to form a new "Line", then assigning several trucks to that line to perform the necessary logistics. You receive payment whenever goods or people are successfully delivered to another location, though that amount varies considerably depending on the type of cargo and the distance it has travelled. You also need to consider how much your transportation chains cost to maintain.
Transport Fever 2 is most enjoyable at two specific points of play. Getting everything running like clockwork is supremely gratifying. The second is watching those cogs turn.
TF2 is brimming with detail. The way cargo stacks up on train platforms and truck bays, the way your public transports affects how civilians move through cities.
The vehicle models are wonderfully intricate, down to the flecked paint on diesel trains and the soot stains on old ferries. Transport Fever 2 boasts three distinct historical periods that take you from the steam engines and horse-drawn wagons of the s through to the bullet-trains and jet-liners of the year Between those two points, trouble emerges.
You must redraw the entire line.Notifica per pubblici proclami ordinanza n. 56 del 5 febbraio 2020
Trains, meanwhile, can only be altered in the depot. If you want to make changes on-track, you have to replace the entire train. Moreover, while Transport Fever looks great, interactively it lacks the slickness of Cities: Skylines. When there is a problem with your transport lines, TF2 can be quite vague on what the actual issue is. These and other finicky mechanics slow your progress to the point where adjust the route of a train-line can take half an hour.
I should also make quick mention of the campaign. However, the early game has a strong colonialist bent, in one level literally casting you as the industrial hero bringing civilisation to island savages. Transport Fever 2 is hardly a genre trailblazer, but its journey is pleasant enough and despite a few delays, ultimately gets you where you want to go.
